The Silentmode Powermask is a wireless audio face mask designed for rest, relaxation, meditation, and total visual blackout.

Yes. The Silentmode Powermask is the perfect tool to assist you with your meditation and breathwork.

Yes. Improved sleep is one of the benefits from wearing the Powermask. Naps are a perfect use for the product, as well as a quiet space for practicing breathwork or meditation.

Please turn on the Powermask by pressing the orange button on the battery pack. The orange light on the front of the Powermask should start pulsing quickly, and the mask should show up as “Silentmode” in your phone’s Bluetooth device list. Select it, and the light should change to a slow “breathing” style pulse.

If not, please turn Bluetooth off and then on again on your phone, and try again.

If “Silentmode” appears as a device in the Bluetooth list but still will not connect, try to turn off the Powermask by holding the power button on the battery pack for 5 seconds. The orange light on the front should fade slowly out and turn off. Wait a second and then turn it back on and try again.

If this doesn’t solve the problem, please give the Powermask a full charge, until the light on the front turns off, and then turn it on and try again. This resets both the power management chip and the Bluetooth.

ZBones Bone Conduction Headphones

ZBones Bone Conduction Headphones – How do they work?

What is Bone Conduction Hearing Technology?

Bone conduction is the conduction of sound to the inner ear primarily through the bones of the skull, allowing the hearer to perceive audio content without blocking the ear canal.

When wearing ZBones, the headphone speakers rest gently atop the cheekbones and the sound vibrations emitted from the speakers are captured by the cheekbones (bone conduction) and travel directly to the inner ear complex and on to the brain for interpretation. In essence, the cheekbones become a second set of eardrums, allowing the wearer to hear sounds from two different sources while existing in the same environment.

How to Wear Your ZBones

ZBones are designed to fit comfortably over the ears as the speakers rest gently atop the cheekbones, directly in front of the ears.

How do I pair my ZBones with my smartphone initially?

Make sure that your ZBones have been fully charged (2-hours)

Press and hold the Power-On button until you hear the voice prompt: "Powering On"

Shortly after, you will again hear the voice prompt: "Ready to pair"

Go to your smartphone Settings - Bluetooth and search for "ZBones" as a listed device (Note: If, during this initial pairing sequence, you do not see "ZBones" listed, turn your smartphone off and then back on as it may need to go through a "rebooting" process).

Enable "ZBones" as the device to pair.

In approximately 15-25 seconds, you will hear the voice prompt: "Paired."

That's it and you are ready to begin using your ZBones as paired with your smartphone.

My smartphone will not pair with my ZBones even though I can see ZBones in my smartphones Bluetooth settings – What should I do?

Just like a laptop, iPad (or similar tablet device) or desktop computer, your smartphone is also a computer and sometimes it needs to be rebooted. Simply turn your smartphone completely off. Wait about 60 seconds and then turn it back on and then go through the pairing sequence again.

More than likely, this simple reboot of your phone should solve this pairing issue.

Can I pair my ZBones with more than one device?

Yes. You can pair one ZBones headset to two different Bluetooth enabled devices. Example: Pair to a smartphone and a laptop.

To pair to a second Bluetooth enabled device:

Make sure the ZBones are powered-on; and then:

Press and hold the Z-Function button until the "Ready to pair" voice is heard. ZBones will automatically search for the second device to pair with and once paired, you will hear "Paired".

You are now paired with two Bluetooth enabled devices.

How do I charge my ZBones?

Charge your ZBones using the Micro USB cable included. Carefully open the little cover of theMicro USB charging port on your ZBones and carefully plug the cable into the port.

How long does it take for my ZBones to charge?

A full charge of your ZBones will take approximately 2-hours.

Once my ZBones are fully charged, how long will they last for?

Once your ZBones are fully charged, they will provide approximately 6-hours of continuous listening. 6-7 days is the approximate "stand-by" period before a full recharge of your ZBones becomes necessary.

How do I know when my ZBones need recharging?

Your ZBones will provide a series of "beeps" when the remaining battery life reaches 10%.

Another way to check to see if your battery life is low, you will see a flashing red light located just below the Power On/Off button on your ZBones.

When your ZBones are fully charged, the flashing light will turn blue.

Are ZBones waterproof?

No, ZBones are not waterproof and cannot be submerged in water or other types of liquids. However, they are sweatproof. They have been thoroughly tested to withstand rigorous physical activity during the hot summer months or walking/running in the rain or snow.

What is the water/liquid resistance rating for ZBones?

ZBones are sweat proof and have an IPX5 rating.

The rating scale for devices assigned for water protection are from IPX0 (no protection from water or liquids) - IPX8 (the highest rating for full waterproof protection: device can be submerged in water deeper than meter for 30 minutes or more). IP (Ingress Protection) is an internal protection code, X represents not tested against protection from solid objects. The number in the rating represents the protection level from water or other liquids. Devices with an IPX5 rating, such as ZBONES, can resist jets of water at low pressure. Examples: rain, snow, sweat, low pressure, water spray, etc.

Can ZBones be adjusted to fit various head sizes?

No, ZBones cannot be adjusted. They are designed as a 'one-size-fits-all' product to accommodate the use of additional items that may be worn while using ZBones, for example: sun/reading glasses, hats or caps, ear protection, protective hard hats, protective face masks, etc.
